Day 1: Love is Patient

Today's dare is to be patient with your spouse. Say nothing negative to them. If the temptation arises choose to say nothing at all. It's better to hold your tounge than say something that you will regret.

 Until this morning I never realized How hard that is. I say so many negative things without even realizing. Why is it that I do this? I think it's because we jsut get to desensitized to the world around us and don't realize that some of the things we say and even do can hurt someone.




And if you are reading this and you know my husband PLEASE do not tell him that I am doing this. This is supposed to be done without his knowledge.

The beginning.

Well this is the beginning of me trying to help my marriage. Things haven't been good in a while. And it hurts to see us living this way. So I decided to try the Love dare. I have 40 days to change the way I treat my husband and hopefully it will change the way he treats me. I'll be blogging about what the daily dare is and what I did and how he reacted. And I hope that by the end of this there will be a change and that we will have a stronger and happier marriage.
